Marinara Sauce

28 oz. canned crushed tomatoes
12 oz. tomato paste
1 1/2 cup water
1 cup diced onion
1 tbsp. chopped garlic
2 tbsp. extra virgin olive-oil 1 tbsp. dried basil
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. dried marjoram
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
Procedure
1 Chop the onion and garlic and sauté in the olive oil over medium heat.
2 Combine with the water, and tomato paste. Stir thoroughly.
3 Add the crushed tomatoes, herbs and spices. Mix thoroughly.
4 Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for one hour.
5 Adjust seasoning.
Servings: 8
